Basalt Grey Sandblasted and Brushed Finish is a high-performance natural volcanic stone product, characterized by a dual-surface treatment process that combines sandblasting and brushing. Sourced from premium grey basalt deposits, this finish delivers a unique balance of textured ruggedness and smooth tactility, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications where durability, slip resistance, and aesthetic versatility are required. Surface Treatment Process

Step 1: Sandblasting – High-pressure sandblasting (80-100 psi) using silica sand or aluminum oxide particles to abrade the basalt surface. This process removes the top layer, creating a uniform, slightly rough texture with small, evenly distributed indentations, enhancing slip resistance and hiding minor surface imperfections.

Step 2: Brushing – Post-sandblasting, the stone undergoes a mechanical brushing process using nylon or wire brushes. This step softens the sharp edges created by sandblasting, smoothing the surface while preserving the textured base, resulting in a tactile finish that is rough yet comfortable to touch.
